Gov. John G. Rowland, under investigation for accepting gifts and then lying about it, has received a broad federal subpoena seeking such items as documents related to his former Washington, D.C., condominium.
The subpoena, released by Rowland’s office, also asks for telephone and travel records and documents related to a sports car he was given.
The federal government has been investigating Rowland for accepting improvements on his summer cottage from employees and state contractors.
