From Times Wire Reports
A tanker truck carrying thousands of gallons of fuel toppled onto a car and ignited, killing four people in the car in a fire so hot it melted the tanker on a busy highway ramp near Fort Lauderdale, authorities said.
The tanker truck was hauling 9,000 gallons of fuel when the driver lost control on the Florida Turnpike, flipping onto a car and pinning it against a guardrail. The truck then burst into flames that shot 30 feet into the air and sent a stream of liquefied metal onto the pavement.
