Video Late Fees Should Be of Little Surprise

It still amazes me how people do not want to take responsibility for their actions and complain when they are penalized for their own wrongdoing (“Blockbuster to Halt Late Fees, but There’s a Catch,” Dec. 15).

Blockbuster has issued late charges because of people who do not want to be responsible enough to return their movies on time.

If you are old enough to open the account and rent the movie, then you are old enough to suffer the consequences when you break the rules by not returning it on time.
