Turquoise rings, beaded necklaces, bone anklets and headdresses fashioned with shells are some of the 350 decorative objects on view at “Vanishing Worlds: The Art of Cultural Adornment” at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center. Celebrating the styles of jewelry and ornamentation of indigenous people, the exhibition focuses on accessories from tribes across Africa, Southeast Asia and the Americas.
