Alleged Kidnap Video Showed Marital Dispute

What police initially thought was a kidnapping caught on an apartment security camera turned out to be a marital dispute, and the alleged victim is safe and uninjured, police said Monday.
The tape shows a man knocking a woman down some steps and then carrying her away.
Chance Michaels, 31, had come to pick up his 23-year-old wife from a friend’s apartment on May 26, said Los Angeles Police Lt. Ray Lombardo. The two then began arguing, he said.
The case will be referred for possible charges to the district attorney or city attorney.
