Tracking Bin Laden

Re “CIA Chief Says He Has Idea Where Bin Laden Is,” June 20: So CIA Director Porter Goss told Time magazine that even though he has an “excellent idea” where Osama bin Laden is hiding, we cannot go get him (“dead or alive,” as the president once stated) due to respect for sovereign nations. Two questions: What happened to Iraq’s sovereign nation status and what about our president’s declaration to other supposedly sovereign nations that if they weren’t with us, they were with the terrorists? Do the White House and CIA compare notes before each speaks?
