High school football -- A listing in Saturday’s Sports section said Kris Atmore of El Segundo rushed for five touchdowns in a 52-42 loss to Torrance. Atmore rushed for six touchdowns. Also, some editions of the paper said the game was between Bay League teams; it was a Pioneer League game.

* Marvin Johnson, Compton Dominguez: The quarterback carried seven times for 250 yards, including touchdown runs of 92, 82 and five yards, and the Dons had 585 yards of offense in a 56-7 San Gabriel Valley League victory over Downey Warren.
* Mark Rodgers, Lawndale Leuzinger: Rushed for 244 yards and two touchdowns in 27 carries in a 36-13 Bay League victory over South Torrance. Sione Tuli added 161 yards and two touchdowns in 23 carries for the winners.

* Rene Creda, Montebello: Completed 18 of 27 passes for 290 yards and two touchdowns in a 45-21 Almont League victory over Bell Gardens. Gabriel Diaz caught 10 passes for 136 yards.
