‘Lion’ on the loose

JOHN HORN’S “Chronicles of Narnia” article [“Will This ‘Lion’ Roar?,” Nov. 6] completely failed to mention the BBC’s faithful 1988 TV adaptation. While certainly not as high budget as the upcoming feature film, this live-action TV series sparked renewed interest in the books and proves that C.S. Lewis’ heirs did not have such a difficult time deciding on who to entrust with media rights, as the article implies.
