“The Bachelor” will return to ABC Jan. 9 as part of a series of Monday programming changes prompted by the conclusion of “Monday Night Football.” It will air at 10 p.m.
The unscripted series “Wife Swap,” which currently follows the football game on the West Coast, will move to 8 p.m. Following at 9 will be “Emily’s Reasons Why Not,” a new comedy starring Heather Graham as a woman who has recently ended a relationship. “Jake in Progress,” a comedy starring John Stamos as a New York City publicist that had a brief run last season, will follow at 9:30.
This is the final season that ABC will have to make major changes in its Monday lineup because of football. “Monday Night Football” will be seen on ESPN beginning next season, after 36 seasons on ABC.
