Re “Oh, C’mon, Get Over Yourself” [Nov. 15]: I am a Sierra Club hike leader and somewhat chunky myself. Nevertheless, I have taken up walking half-marathons. I have seen many very large women finish the half, and probably some also do a full marathon. So a hefty woman can be quite strong and healthy!
