The death of radio

Re “Radio Stations Play It Safe Amid Legal Probe,” April 8
How absurd are these poor program directors? They want me to believe that they would be under investigation for payola if they played some independent label bands? Most of these labels don’t have enough money to match the cash one major label paid to ensure Jessica Simpson got so much airplay. The fact is, corporations and their vast monopolies have killed radio.
