Moreno Valley Girl, 3, Drowns in Pool

A 3-year-old Moreno Valley girl accompanying her mother to a Bible study meeting drowned Wednesday night in a Riverside swimming pool, authorities said.
Julissa L. Zhang was last seen about 7:30 at the home with about a dozen other children, according to Steven Frasher, spokesman for the Riverside Police Department. About an hour later, she was found face down in the backyard pool.
She was unconscious when police arrived and was later pronounced dead at Riverside Community Hospital.
The name of the girl’s mother was not released.
