Con-way Settles Suit by Pilots, Flight Crew

Con-way Inc., owner of the largest U.S. regional trucker, paid $9.2 million to settle a suit by 140 pilots and flight crew members who worked for the company’s air transportation unit until it was shut down in 2001.
The suit, filed in state court, alleged wrongful termination and had sought at least $500 million in damages, San Mateo, Calif.-based Con-way said.
