China’s overpopulation

Re “China’s One-Child Problem,” July 11

It is tragic that the government and the people of China cannot seem to find more humane ways to enforce their one-child policy. Overpopulation is a serious problem that is only getting worse, and it must be addressed.

We need a worldwide one-child policy now.
