NBC Universal Names Film Vice Chairman

NBC Universal promoted Rick Finkelstein from president to vice chairman of Universal Pictures.
Two other executives were elevated to new senior positions.
Finkelstein was also named executive vice president of Los Angeles-based Universal Studios. Jimmy Horowitz was promoted to Universal Pictures co-president of production and Michael Joe was named executive vice president.
Finkelstein is to handle special projects for Universal Studios President Ron Meyer and continue to oversee Universal Studios Home Entertainment, Universal Pictures International Home Video and NBC Universal International Television Distribution.
