Vegas Man Held as Internet Predator

Westminster police Wednesday arrested a Las Vegas man suspected of using the Internet to coax what he believed was a 13-year-old boy into meeting him for sex.
Richard Nuss Jr., 43, was arrested after making the six-hour drive from his home to a rendezvous point after two weeks of nightly Internet chats with a person he believed was the boy.
In fact, the “boy” was a member of Perverted-Justice.com, a group of adults that monitors Internet chat rooms and whose members pose as underage children to snare molesters.
Nuss was arrested by Westminster detectives alerted by the group.
