3 Barefoot Contessa at Home: Everyday Recipes You’ll Make Over and Over Again by Ina Garten (Clarkson Potter, $35) The formula’s similar to the TV Network star’s four previous cookbooks: lavish photos and easy, accessible recipes.
4 The Bon Appetit Cookbook by Barbara Fairchild (Wiley, $34.95) More than 1,200 recipes from the long-lived, Los Angeles-based magazine.

Best Dishes and Best Wishes for the Best Times of Your Life by Paula Deen and Martha Nesbit (Simon & Schuster, $26) In her fifth cookbook, Deen features recipes for a list of holidays that includes not only Thanksgiving and Christmas but also Elvis’ birthday, Mardi Gras and President’s Day.
9 Julie and Julia by Julie Powell (Little, Brown, $23.95) A bestseller at this time last year, this book is from the blogger who cooked her way through “Mastering the Art of French Cooking.”
10 365: No Repeats -- A Year of Deliciously Different Dinners by Rachael Ray (Clarkson Potter, $19.95) Three TV shows, a zillion books; this is one of them, published last winter.
