ZDRASTIVYTIYE Sasha. Ty durak. “Borat” -- eto uzhastno! Ochin plokho! [English translation from the Russian: Hello, Sasha! You are a fool. “Borat” is horrible! Very bad!]
What an insult to anyone who is an Eastern European immigrant to have this garbage passed off as entertainment [“Borat, a Truth Serum in Our Midst,” Oct. 15]. The Los Angeles Times should be ashamed of itself for perpetuating “village idiot” stereotypes that are an insult to all of us -- immigrant or not.
