YOUR article “How’d They Do That?,” which described cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki’s work, was a fascinating and focused insight on what goes into making those special moments in a movie [“It Was a Long Shot, but the Effort Paid Off in Exhilaration,” Oct. 29]. This gave an insider’s view on the team of artists behind the camera that put “Children of Men” at the top of my “must see” list.
Quality stories on the filmmaking process and your new design clearly position Sunday Calendar as a “must read” for us working in the film industry and gives the moviegoing audience a look behind the scenes that far surpasses the usual publicity fluff of other newspapers.
