Man and Young Boy Killed in Drive-By Shooting in Compton

Two people, one of them a young boy, were killed in Compton late Monday in a drive-by shooting, authorities said.
A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said a man and boy were killed near Slater Avenue and 134th Place about 10:30 p.m.
Officials were unable to state whether the two victims were related.
Authorities were looking for a black sport utility vehicle in connection with the shooting.
No other details were immediately available.
