Most Don’t Expect U.S. to Win Terror War Soon

A poll has found that 69% of Americans don’t expect the U.S. to win the war against terrorism within the next decade.
About 20% said they thought about the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks every day, and 68% said they thought about the attacks a few times each month.
And 73% said it was at least “somewhat likely” that another terrorist strike on the U.S. would occur in the next 12 months, the Time magazine/Discovery Network poll of 1,002 adults found.
