at New York 16, Baltimore 5: Jason Giambi, Bobby Abreu, Jorge Posada, Johnny Damon and Robinson Cano all homered the Yankees, and Chien-Ming Wang (19-6) tied Minnesota’s Johan Santana for the major league lead in wins.
Tampa Bay 11, at Boston 0: Tim Corcoran (5-9) gave up four hits over 6 2/3 innings and Rocco Baldelli hit a three-run homer during a nine-run seventh inning.
Oakland 7, at Seattle 6: Bobby Kielty hit a run-scoring double in the 10th inning to win it for the Athletics.
