Teacher slain in her classroom

A junior high school teacher was fatally shot by her husband in front of her class of 40 students in Ixtepec in the southern state of Oaxaca, authorities said. The man, an elementary school principal, then shot himself and was in critical condition.
Officials said he was carrying notes that said he killed his wife because she was “unfaithful” and “so that this becomes a lesson for women who cheat.”
