James Powell made a fall-away three-point basket with 0.4 of a second left to cap UC Santa Barbara’s 63-60 comeback victory over Nevada Las Vegas on Tuesday night at Santa Barbara.
Alex Harris scored 16 of his game-high 19 points and Powell got all of his 15 during a second-half rally when the Gauchos (6-1) recovered from a 13-point deficit.
The Rebels (4-2) had a 44-31 lead with 12:16 to play.
But Powell sparked the comeback by making a career-high five three-point baskets, all in the second half.
