KB Home, the Los Angeles-based builder that has lost more than 40% of its value this year, said Chief Financial Officer Domenico Cecere would retire next year. A search is on for his successor, the company said.
Cecere, 58, will leave in May. He was CFO for five years.
Cecere is the fourth top official to leave since November 2006 when Chief Executive Bruce Karatz resigned amid an internal probe into stock option backdating.
