Dissidents accused of being terrorists

The military junta accused 13 detained dissidents of terrorism, suggesting it would impose long sentences on those suspected of being behind two weeks of protests against soaring fuel prices.
The announcement came a day after six people who held a labor rights seminar were sentenced to as much as 28 years.
Min Ko Naing, the most prominent dissident figure after detained opposition leader and Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, is among the 13.
