New curator: John M.D. Pohl, a curator at the Princeton University Art Museum, has been named curator of the arts of the Americas at the Fowler Museum at UCLA.

Casting: Bette Midler and Cloris Leachman have joined the cast of “The Women,” Diane English’s adaptation of the famous play by Clare Boothe Luce. Already in the movie are Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Eva Mendes, Debra Messing, Jada Pinkett Smith and Candice Bergen.
