The NHL needs to help me explain to the kids how someone like Scott Niedermayer (an outstanding player) gets appointed to the All-Star team. By not being a team player and letting his team down. For not showing up for training camp and the first part of the season, then playing a whole 15 games and making the All-Stars. That is so unfair to a lot of players who have played hard all season and should have been considered. What kind of message are we sending to our kids?
But the more I think about it, I am asking a league that just extended the contract with Versus for three more years.
