Bomb note spurs LAX evacuation

A message on a Los Angeles International Airport bathroom wall saying there was a bomb in the women’s room prompted a partial evacuation of the airport early Sunday morning, airport police said.
Airport police spokesman Sgt. Jim Holcomb said a passenger went into the men’s room at Terminal 2 and saw a message on the wall that read: “There is a bomb in the ladies room.” The area was checked for explosives and cleared, Holcomb said.
