Winger George Parros, who suffered an eye injury in the shootout loss to Vancouver on Friday, was examined Saturday and no damage was found. His status is day to day. Teemu Selanne got stitches around his mouth to close a cut he suffered late in the third period but is expected to play. Since losing the Stanley Cup finals to Tampa Bay in 2004, the Flames have been eliminated in the first round of the playoffs three consecutive seasons.
