Aretha Franklin: A review in Monday’s Calendar section of Aretha Franklin’s concert at the House of Blues in West Hollywood stated that her appearance in February at the Nokia Theatre had been her first in Los Angeles in 15 years. She performed at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City in 2005 and at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles in 2004.
