To the tune of ‘Bail Me Out’

I live in Minnesota and don’t typically read the L.A. Times. However, I just read William Heisel’s blog post about Jim Becker’s song “Bail Me Out” (Money & Co, Oct. 7).
First of all, thanks for the article, Mr. Heisel, and, of course, thanks to Jim Becker for the song that reflects what so many of us common folks are feeling in the middle of this financial storm.
I’d like to pass on an idea, a “pay it forward” kind of thing. What if each of us sent Mr. Becker just $1 and sent this request on to everyone? “We the People” have the power to bail him out. Then who needs Wall Street!?!
