Re “‘Reality television’ in more ways than one,” Feb. 17
I thoroughly appreciated The Times’ article on minority representation in reality TV.
As someone who prefers scripted shows, I never thought of reality programming as groundbreaking -- but this article, in showing how reality shows reflect a diverse America, helped me see a different perspective.
When it comes to scripted television, I also agree with the point made in the article: Representation in front of the camera depends on what happens in the writing room.
