West Africa drug traffic: An article in Thursday’s Section A about nations sending narcotics police to West Africa said that 2.5 tons of cocaine was found on a Liberian freighter off Monrovia, Sierra Leone’s capital. Monrovia is the capital of Liberia. The article also said that the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy estimates Colombia’s annual cocaine production at 750 tons. The correct figure is 500 tons.
