Probable pitchers: Joe Saunders vs. Zack Greinke.

Update: Greinke has been a big part of Kansas City’s surprising start, becoming the first pitcher since Fernando Valenzuela in 1985 to not give up an earned run over his first four starts. After giving up two earned runs in his fifth start, Greinke pitched a six-hit shutout in his last outing during a 3-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox on May 4. Saunders has given up two earned runs or fewer in three of his last four starts, including a 5-2 victory over Oakland on May 4 in which he gave up six hits and two runs in 6 2/3 innings.
