Update: The Ducks return home to face the Flames for the first time this season after a shootout loss Wednesday at Vancouver on the heels of a shootout victory Tuesday at Edmonton. Goaltender Curtis McElhinney is OK and available to play after leaving Wednesday’s game when he was cut by a slap shot to the mask and required stitches. Coach Randy Carlyle gave the Ducks a day off Thursday after three games in four days, the last two on the road.
