Composer Trevor Morris buys home in Santa Monica for $1.59 million

Emmy-winning composer Trevor Morris has sold his place in the Cheviot Hills-Rancho Park vicinity and bought a house in Santa Monica for $1.59 million.
The Santa Monica property includes a three-bedroom, 23/4-bathroom house, a swimming pool, a spa and a shaded lawn. The 2,400-square-foot house, built in 1940, features wood-beam ceilings, a library, French doors and a balcony.
The town house Morris sold for $915,050 has a studio, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,107 square feet of living space.
Morris, 42, is a two-time Emmy winner for the theme from “The Tudors” (2007) and the score of “The Borgias” (2011). He composed the musical score for the film “Immortals,” released last year.
He moved to be closer to his recently completed film-scoring studio in Santa Monica.
Jai Winding of Coldwell Banker Pacific Palisades represented Morris in his purchase and was the listing agent in his sale. Steven D. Ito of Coldwell Banker’s Montana office in Santa Monica represented the buyer of the town house. Gary Limjap of Coldwell Banker Santa Monica had the listing on the Santa Monica house.
