Dick Clark Productions, one of the biggest producers of live awards shows, has tapped Amy Thurlow as chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
Thurlow most recently was chief financial officer and executive vice president of TV Guide Network, the cable channel co-owned by CBS and Lionsgate.
Dick Clark Productions President Mike Mahan said Thurlow will “play a vital management role” as the company looks to expand its operations here and abroad.
Among the awards shows that Dick Clark Productions makes are “The Golden Globes,” “The American Music Awards,” “The Billboard Music Awards” and the upcoming “Hollywood Film Awards.” It also produces “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest.” It also produces the Fox show “So You Think You Can Dance” and ABC’s new talent show “Rising Star.”
