The Postal Service will play its reunion set Saturday at 8:50 p.m. on the Coachella stage, Earl Sweatshirt will hit the Gobi tent Friday just after midnight, Wu Tang Clan is set to take over the Outdoor Theatre at 9:15 p.m. Sunday and Dead Can Dance will deliver the closing set for the first weekend of the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio at 11 p.m. Sunday on the Mojave Stage.
Those are among the highlights of the set times for this year’s festival that just went up on Coachella’s official website.
Nearly 200 acts will play across six stages over each of the two three-day weekends of this year’s event commencing Friday. Like last year, identical lineups will be offered both weekends.
Among the dozens of Southland acts this year, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will play Sunday at 10:15 p.m. on the Coachella Stage, a few hours after long-running punk band Social Distortion performs on the same stage, while veteran experimental pop-dance-rock duo Sparks will appear Friday at 7:35 p.m. on the Mojave stage, with DJ and KCRW-FM (89.9) music director Jason Bentley set to spin 5:45 p.m. on Saturday in the Yuma tent.
The full lineup and complete set times can be seen here.
