Lorde says she’s a fan of her ‘South Park’ caricature

Singer-songwriter Lorde is not offended by a recent story line in a “South Park” episode that depicts her true identity as a male who cross-dresses because he wants to use the women's restrooms. Instead, the 17-year-old New Zealand singer best known for her smash hit "Royals" seems flattered.
After being featured on the crass cartoon for two weeks straight, Lorde, born Ella Yelich-O'Connor, took to social media to share her thoughts.
In the Comedy Central series, the character Randy Marsh -- Stan's father -- is actually Lorde. He started dressing like a woman to use the women's bathroom at work because it is nicer than the men's. While doing so, Randy starts singing made-up songs to himself until he is finally discovered by a major record label.
When it appears as though he is going to be exposed in the most recent episode, Randy is going to give up being Lorde until his wife tells him why the world needs Lorde and her music.
The real Lorde posted some of her favorite scenes on Instagram.
