Bones Cyndi Lauper reprises her recurring guest role as Angela’s (Michaela Conlon) psychic friend invited to help an investigation, as the mystery series returns with new episodes. Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz star. 8 p.m. Fox
The Blacklist The task force pursues a scientist who has been abducting disabled patients and using them in experiments on immortality in this new episode. James Spader and Megan Boone star with guest stars Lance Henricksen, Ralph Brown and Kevin Weisman guest star. 9 p.m. NBC
Scandal When Michael (Matthew Del Negro) gets himself in a jam, the team springs into damage-control mode and tries to persuade Cyrus (Jeff Perry) to move up the wedding date in this new episode. Portia de Rossi, Kate Burton, Dan Bucatinsky, Paul Adelstein and George Newbern guest star. 9 p.m. ABC
Backstrom Evidence points to vehicular homicide in a hit-and-run incident that leaves a wealthy woman dead in this new episode. Rainn Wilson, Sarah Chalke and Dennis Haysbert stars with guest star Rizwan Manji. 9 p.m. Fox

Vikings As preparations for the big raid pick up speed, Rollo (Clive Standen) pauses to reflect on what the Seer (John Kavanagh) prophesied about his destiny before the Viking fleet sails up the Seine to catch its first glimpse of Paris. 10 p.m. History
Dig Peter’s (Jason Isaacs) obsessive quest to find Emma’s killer leads him to uncover some ancient secrets written in code, which lead to a race to find the missing stones in this new episode. 10 p.m. USA
