“You are Mary, Queen of Scots?” Let’s hope the young monarch (Adelaide Kane) is enough of a Monty Python fan to sidestep that question on the new semi-historical drama “Reign.” 9 p.m. KTLA

It’s a wrap when the winning designer is revealed on the season finale of Heidi Klum’s “Project Runway.” 9 p.m. Lifetime

Reports of Annie’s (Piper Perabo) death were greatly exaggerated. She’s alive, but deep undercover, on the return of “Covert Affairs.” 10 p.m. USA

More zombies! But here comes “The Walking Dead’s” Michael Rooker to save Jamie and Adam’s bacon on “Mythbusters.” And by “bacon,” we mean “braaains.” 10 p.m. Discovery

FRIDAY

A cavalcade of stars, including Julie Andrews, Audra McDonald, Josh Groban, Itzhak Perlman and Michael Bublé, helps celebrate 40 seasons of “Great Performances.” 9 p.m. KOCE

How will we know “What Not to Wear” once this show goes off the air? Hosts Stacy London and Clinton Kelly shut it all down with a two-hour series finale. 9 p.m. TLC

With help from “Mr. Show’s” Bob Odenkirk, the comedy troupe “The Birthday Boys” makes the leap from the stage to the small screen in this new series. 10:30 p.m. IFC

SATURDAY

“M” is for “malevolent” in the creepy 2013 supernatural thriller “Mama.” Jessica Chastain and “Game of Thrones’” Nikolaj Coster-Waldau star. 8 p.m. HBO

“Lost’s” Maggie Grace frumps it up as a frontier-era schoolmarm in the TV movie “When Calls the Heart.” Lori Loughlin and Jean Smart also star. 9 and 11 p.m. Hallmark

Here endeth “The White Queen.” The imported drama set during England’s War of the Roses won’t be getting a second season and so presents its series finale. 9 p.m. Starz
