Survey Heather Taylor’s vibrant embroidered linen table runners, place mats and napkins, and you won’t be surprised that the Los Angeles designer would move on to something more tactile -- weavings.

Her new small weavings are made in Los Angeles, which qualifies them for gift pick No. 13 in our Handmade Holidays countdown to Christmas. The weavings measure roughly five-by-eight inches and will be sold for $250 apiece on the Heather Taylor Home website.

Taylor’s linen collection, meanwhile, is designed in Los Angeles but made by hand by artisans in Mexico and India. Those pieces are available through Nickey Kehoe, Canyon Gourmet and Clare Vivier.
