Earthquake: 3.0 quake strikes near Corona

A shallow magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported Friday morning seven miles from Corona, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 1:55 a.m. PDT near the surface.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was seven miles from North Tustin, eight miles from Foothill Ranch and nine miles from Tustin.
In the past 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
