Javier Escalera took his family to see the Rise of the Jack O’Lanterns show at Descanso Gardens on Oct. 3. There he photographed a display depicting characters from “The Wizard of Oz.”
“The way those pumpkins are carved is pure art,” he said.
Escalera used a Nikon D810.
