* Adams Avenue: A planter worth $70 was stolen from a home in the 2000

block Monday evening.

* Baker Street: A purse and its contents worth $100 were stolen from a

car in the 600 block between 1 and 7 p.m. Monday.

* Placentia Avenue: A wallet and its contents worth $50 were stolen from

a car in the 2400 block Saturday evening.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Bay Front: A backpack and its contents worth $200 were stolen in the

600 block Sunday.

* Newport Center Drive: A cellular phone worth $120 was stolen from a car

in the 900 block between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday.

* 44th Street: A surfboard worth $200 was stolen from a car in the 100

block the evening of March 29.
