Airport to feature blood drive Monday
If you’re headed out of town Monday and leaving from John Wayne Airport or are just arriving from out of town, be sure to eat a healthy breakfast and drink plenty of fluids that morning.
You can help save up to three lives by donating blood while at the airport.
At John Wayne Airport’s Terminal A on the lower level (for arrivals), the American Red Cross of Orange County will have a bloodmobile set up for people to donate blood as they arrive for their flights.
The mobile blood bank will be stationed outside Terminal A between the first and second traffic signals from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Donors are encouraged to make appointments by going to www.givelife.org and typing in “JohnWayneAirport” with no spaces into the location, then selecting an appointment time.
Walk-up donors are also welcome.
