Baseball: Marco Briones wins his 30th game on the mound for Alhambra

Marco Briones struck out 13 and threw a four-hitter to help Alhambra defeat Fontana, 3-2, on Thursday in a Southern Section Division 4 playoff opener.
Briones is Alhambra’s all-time winningest pitcher. He improved to 9-0 this season and has 30 career victories.
Alhambra needed to score two runs in the seventh to pull out the win.
