Boys’ basketball: Sophomore Lonzo Ball commits to UCLA

One of the top sophomore point guards in California, Lonzo Ball of Chino Hills, has committed to UCLA, Coach Steve Baik confirmed Friday night.
Ball, who is a terrific all-around athlete and A student, gives Coach Steve Alford a tremendous future point guard after the Bruins failed to land a point guard from the class of 2014.
