Boys’ basketball: There’s life after transfers for Sherman Oaks Notre Dame

The skeptics were out after two basketball players from Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, Ryan Ducar and Cameron Glass, transferred to Calabasas during the summer.
But the remaining Knights decided to move on. On Sunday, Notre Dame won the War on the Floor tournament at Calabasas, defeating Dorsey, 55-52, in the final.
Gabe Rishwain, a 5-foot-10 senior guard, made six three-pointers and finished with 19 points.
